Looking for a fun event local to
Whether a runner or walker, the WSFA 5K and 10K Run is
for all who
want to add a bit of fun to their weekend!
This run is helping kick off the
Heritage Weekend September 24-26, 2010. For more family fun

Proceeds from the 5K and 10K Run event will go to The
Wardensville
Scholarship Fund Association (WFSA), a tax-exempt
organization which
provides scholastic financial assistance to
graduates of East Hardy
High School in Baker, West Virginia. All graduating Seniors
are
eligible to apply for support.
Start and Finish location: the
Street,
Course: The course will be run entirely within the
Wardensville
Township.
The course will be all pavement and sidewalk.

7:00am -- 8:00am Race
Day – Registration and Packet Pickup
8:00am -- 10K Run
9:00am –- 5K Run
Registration – Do not mail after September 18, 2010
5K Entry Fees: $10.00
10K Entry Fees: $15.00
High School Students: $5.00
Military
(Active & Retired): $5.00
Virtual Runners – make a $25 donation by September 9,
2010 and
receive an official race t-shirt in the mail.
Location and Directions: From the intersection of I-66
and I-81:
South on I-81 for 4 Miles to Exit 296 (this is the
exit for
Strasburg and Rt. 55). Go West on
Rt. 55 towards Wardensville
for 20 miles where you will enter the town
limits. The Old
on the left.
Amenities: All pre-registered 5K/10K Runners will
receive a
T-Shirt. (Sizes and availability are not
guaranteed on race day.)
Completion Certificates.
Awards: 1st and 2nd Men &
Women’s overall for 5K and 10K Run
Distributed immediately following the conclusion of
the race.
